Not sure I will do it again but that is only because November is sooo busy for me. I stopped at 51,000 words--to allow for any discrepancy in their word-count programs and the one on Word--which I use. Also, Scrivenor is one of the sponsors and they offer a 50% discount on their novel-writing program to all who completed the challenge. Will get around to that eventually, but want to hear what others have to say about it first.<br /><br />I know the ending of the story, "Whistle Pig Hill", but will have to wait until after Christmas to finish it. I do recommend it. Create Space is one of the sponsors, and one of the prizes handed out to those who finish is five print copies of their novels written during Nanowrimo. I think that is pretty cool, but have not explored what all is involved. The code for that expires in June. Maybe will post more as I discover more :-)Teresa Cypherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08940430996766842518noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4696914224277711875.post-600268799369754682011-12-04T20:26:18.965-05:002011-12-04T20:26:18.965-05:00Well, here I am coming in late, but just found you...Well, here I am coming in late, but just found your side-- so how did you make out???? Thanks for reading this post. I can...Hi Harleena. Thanks for reading this post. I can hardly hold open my eyes (it is nearly 2 A.M.here). But I am nearly on track for the 6th day of writing. I did a stutter step starting out, choosing one idea out of my "idea" folder, and just not being able to get inside the heads of my characters. So on day 3, started back at square one by choosing another idea. This evening has been about 5000 words so far. But, it is rolling. And the learning process when writing is just so amazing! Always a lot of self-discovery going on while writing. Thank you for your encouragement. I want to finish. I think that NaNoWriMo is a pretty cool concept that is every bit as neat put into practice. Much thanks and big hug to you :-)Teresa Cypherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08940430996766842518noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4696914224277711875.post-71075595177385639522011-11-05T01:56:13.277-04:002011-11-05T01:56:13.277-04:00Wow Teresa!
