He still raves about it and the culture, food and magnitude of it all. Detroit made an impression, even though the stay was spoiled by him breaking his arm slipping on black ice.. In so many words, it would be wonderful to see you in person some day, either way, you-us or we-you. Our doors are open for you as well (with 2-4 bed capacity). Hugs and hearts! :)DasNukhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06513945470399592454noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4696914224277711875.post-62710779673333770172012-05-20T09:08:20.335-04:002012-05-20T09:08:20.335-04:00What a spectacular post. And the back deck/porch has no stairs leading up to them. Ha! We think we'd have to be half mountain goat to get to them, if they did exist. ;-) So...I just let my front door be my back door. BUT, there are a few who visit and if I have warning ahead of time, I go into the white tornado cleaning frenzy before they arrive ;-)

The sentiment is lovely. I always thought it was so sweet...those two displaced town girls, and how they found each other out here amid acres of corn and loneliness. :-)

Life is too short to fuss over cobwebs. ;-)

Thank you for giving it a read :-)!Teresa Cypherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08940430996766842518noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4696914224277711875.post-5969375714079248192012-05-18T20:33:43.902-04:002012-05-18T20:33:43.902-04:00Hello, Dana :-) Thank you! Maybe you and David will come to the USA some time for a visit? Or, one never knows...maybe I will get to come to Germany to see your part of the world :-)

Life's lessons...we never stop experiencing them as long as we are open minded-- to understand them when they happen. :-)

Thanks for giving it a read. I don't have a particular title for my closest friends, and my house is a disaster whichever of the doors you enter in, but the sentiment makes perfect, recognised sense :-)Lisa Southardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09711376747848601409noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4696914224277711875.post-45004228645819993312012-05-18T17:55:08.625-04:002012-05-18T17:55:08.625-04:00I feel as though with the clarity and purpose conv...I feel as though with the clarity and purpose conveyed through your words, you always leave me with a gift at the end of each post. Something to unwrap, and think about and treasure. I believe these memories ~ life lessons would be perfect for an anthology of biographical stories!
