A Wedding Cake



The reason I didn't do a Weekend Writing Warriors post today :-)  This cake: it's baking and decorating sucked the time right out of my Friday and Saturday. But my friend liked it, and that made it all worthwhile. :-)  I'll be around to visit wewriwa Warriors.

    Nice cake! When I was engaged (marriage didn't happen, thankfully), I wanted a similar DIY cake and dessert buffet. It's so much more personal.

      Agreed. I really like the trending chocolate covered cake balls and decadent little cupcakes in lieu of a big cake. Self serve saves so much trouble. Just one little cake for the bride and groom to cut. Done. :-) Thanks for visiting, Carrie-Anne. :-)

    oh wow - thanks for posting the cake! We got home thursday I managed to get to the doctor yesterday and hope to feel better. But we're still recovering
