Happy July! Time is flying. Seems like just yesterday we were digging out from April snows.( I thought that maybe in this sweltering heat and humidity, remembering that nice spring snow would help people feel cooler) :-)
It's time for snips and bits of amazing tales by talented
writers! Weekend Writing Warriors is a weekly bloghop. Each week,

This week's snippet is from "The Sands of Dhor". Lily, abducted from Earth by alien slavers, is with Theusand. He's not a slaver, and he's just told her he wants to talk to her--alone...

It was a lie, a flat out
lie. “How could you know such a thing? I don’t believe you. Your mind can’t
cover that distance. There’s no way you can know something like that. No way…”
Her voice trailed off into mumbling until the argument died in a sob. The look
on his face… However he knew, it was the truth. She crumbled.
Oh, no! That is heartbreaking. :'(
